We view investments in these young people as meaningful steps toward improving the future of foster care. As with any investment, we expect a return. Our former foster youth use their Washington experience to pursue a variety of careers and become mentors for current foster youth.  “Potential only matters if you use it” is a call to the community at-large to stand behind these young adults, because if we don’t help them realize their potential, we all lose. When they win, we win:

> 100% attend a four-year university

> 37% pursue graduate, law and doctoral degrees

> 47% pursue careers in social service
